Privacy statement

1. Personal data we process

SchoonGeregeld processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself — through the contact form, by e-mail, by telephone or via WhatsApp. This concerns the following data:

• your name;
• your e-mail address;
• your telephone number;
• the address where the cleaning work takes place;
• the content of your message or quote request;
• the details that have to appear on the invoice when we carry out a job for you.

2. Why do we process personal data?

SchoonGeregeld processes your personal data in order to answer your quote request, to be able to call, e-mail or message you about an appointment, and to carry out and invoice the agreed cleaning work.

We do not use your data for anything else. There is no newsletter, we do not handle payments through this website, and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.

3. How long do we keep personal data?

We do not keep your personal data longer than is necessary for the purposes above. We apply the following periods:

• Quote requests and messages that do not lead to a job: a maximum of 12 months after your last contact with us.
• Data belonging to a contract: for as long as the contract runs, and afterwards for as long as is needed to settle the agreement properly.
• Invoices and the associated bookkeeping: 7 years, because Dutch fiscal law requires us to keep them.

4. Sharing personal data with third parties

SchoonGeregeld does not sell your data to third parties and only shares it where this is necessary to perform our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

We do use service providers that process data on our behalf, such as the party that handles our contact form and our e-mail and bookkeeping software. They may only use your data for the task we give them.

5. Contact form, WhatsApp and processors

When you use our contact form, your message is sent and processed through Web3Forms, an external service for handling form data, and then forwarded to our e-mail address. The processing is based on the performance of the agreement with you, or on our legitimate interest in being able to answer your question.

Web3Forms may process data outside the EEA; that transfer takes place on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

You may also choose to reach us via WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a Meta service; on that channel the WhatsApp (Meta) privacy policy applies alongside this statement, and your message data then passes through Meta’s servers. If you would rather avoid that, use the contact form, e-mail or telephone.

6. Cookies

SchoonGeregeld does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not measure your visit with analytics. Only technical and functional cookies that are necessary for the website to work properly may be placed, for example to remember your language choice. A cookie is a small text file stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit this website.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR (AVG) you have a number of rights. Send your request to [email protected]; we respond within one month. To prevent misuse we may ask you to confirm your request.

• Access: you may ask which personal data we process about you.
• Rectification: you may have incorrect data corrected or completed.
• Erasure: you may ask us to delete your data, unless we are legally required to keep it.
• Restriction: you may ask us to pause the processing, for example while a correction request is pending.
• Portability: you may receive the data you provided to us in a common digital file.
• Objection: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
• Withdrawing consent: if you gave us consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
• Complaint: you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

8. Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data: the website works exclusively over a secure https connection, and only the staff who carry out or schedule your job have access to your data. If you believe your data is not properly secured, or you see signs of misuse, please contact us.
